Gonzalo Pérez Salazar

Mr. Pérez has more than 25  years of experience and focuses on litigation, financial advice and legal collections. He is also an expert in constitutional procedures and regulatory framework (expropriations, administrative litigation, public contracts, telecommunications, tax, urban planning, banking, oil, gas and energy).

Gonzalo is a member of Risk Committees in Banking and Money Laundering. He has also participated in arbitrations as a litigant and as a judge. Over his years of experience he has developed excellent relations with the public power and the private sector.

Before joining InterJuris Abogados, Mr. Perez was Of Counsel of two leading banks in Venezuela and two leading law firms of the country.

He holds a PHD from Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV-2018), a Specialization in Administrative Law from Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV-2004) and a JD from Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV-1995).

He has been coordinator of the specialization in Constitutional Procedural Law in Universidad Monteávila for over 14 years and since 2021 he is the coordinator for the specialization in Economic Law in Universidad Monteávila.

Gonzalo is author of more than 30 refereed publications and is constantly invited as a speaker in national and international events. He has also been awarded in 3 different countries.
