Magdalena Maninat Lizarraga


Mrs. Maninat has more than 2 years of experience and concentrates her practice on Corporate and Dispute Resolution matters.

Magdalena has participated in acquisitions, due diligences, assistance in arbitrations, sale of shares in corporations and obtaining permits for companies in regulated sectors. She has participated in the drafting of acquisition documents and has carried out research on regulatory matters in various jurisdictions.

She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with distinction and as part of the Dean’s List in International Legal Studies and a certificate in International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution from Georgetown University (2022)  and a J.D., summa cum laude, from Universidad Monteávila (2020).

Magdalena was elected as part of the Board of Directors of theVenezuelan Arbitration Association 2019-2021 and is currently Director of the journal on alternative dispute resolution “Principia” from the CIERC at Universidad Monteávila.

In 2019, Magdalena participated in the International Investment Arbitration Competition organized by the American University of Washington and the Externado University of Colombia, where her team reached the final and was recognized for their Respondent’s Memorial.
