Guillermo Gibbon Polanco

Mr. Gibbon has more than 8 years of experience and concentrates his practice in Corporate and Labour matters.

Guillermo is in charge of intellectual property cases, has participated in multiple asset sales transactions, mergers and acquisitions, spinoffs, due diligences, and corporate and family business restructuring. He was previously part of the Labor Department and has experience in judicial procedings, labor audits, drafting of pleadings to be presented at trial and labor administrative procedures, doctrinal and jurisprudential research, attendance to preliminary hearings, trial and appeal in labor courts, processing of documents and solvencies at the National Register of Companies, the National Institute of Labor Prevention, Health and Safety (INPSASEL), the Venezuelan Institute of Social Security (IVSS) and the National Institute of Training and Socialist Education(INCES), among other activities

He holds a Master (LL.M.) in Intelectual Property from Universidad Monteávila (2022), a Master (LL.M.) in Corporate Law from Universidad Metropolitana (thesis pending approval) and is an Attorney at Law from Universidad Monteávila (2015).

Prior to joining InterJuris Abogados, Guillermo was part of the Trademark and Patent Department of a major Venezuelan law firm, where he gained important experience in Property matters.
