Fernando Ríos Morillo



Mr. Rios has more than 5 years of experience and concentrates his practice in Corporate and Tax matters.

Fernando has participated in multiple transactions regarding the sale of assets and companies, mergers and acquisitions; spin offs and joint ventures of large international and local companies, having experience in the negotiation, design, drafting and implementation of the relevant agreements and documentation among multiple regulated and unregulated industries in Venezuela.

During his practice, he has advised clients to structure their business operations in a tax efficient manner. He has also assisted clients through fiscal audits, tax and fiscal procedures and represented clients before tax courts.

He holds a Master (LL.M.) in Financial Law (dissertation pending) from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello and a J.D. from Universidad Monteávila (2013).

Before joining InterJuris Abogados, he was a Private Consultant where he gained substantial experience in public procurement matters and electric energy regulations. He also worked as a Lawyer in the Corporate and Tax department at a leading Venezuelan law firm.

Mr. Rios is a former professor of Legal and Political Institutions at Universidad Monteávila and former professor of History of the Law at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello.
