José Alejandro Corbán

José Alejandro has experience in complex and diverse asset sales, mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, and due diligence operations. He is also experienced in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts related to hydrocarbon projects in LATAM and project financing for the oil and gas sector. Furthermore, José A. Corbán has extensive experience advising Venezuelan investors on operations in Venezuela, as well as in Spain, Portugal, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and Panama. He has also participated in processes related to the stock market, such as the incorporation and authorization of brokerage firms, bond issuance, and changes of control, among others.

José A. has been a key player in promoting and expanding the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Venezuela. He has supported startups and SMEs in their various stages of development, providing advice on legal matters, capital raising, investment, and ESOP plans. Thanks to his strategic support, many of these companies have established themselves as some of the highest-grossing in the country.
